Concrete & Masonry Foreman
About the Role
As Foreman, you're the person on the ground making sure the job gets done right. You'll lead a small crew on concrete and masonry projects across Northern Virginia — managing the day-to-day execution, keeping the site organized, and being the direct point of contact with the homeowner while work is underway. You're not just a worker; you're the face of SolidWorks on every job site.
What You'll Do
- Lead on-site crews for concrete pours, masonry installs, paver work, repairs, and related projects
- Review project scope and plans before work begins; flag any issues early
- Direct crew members throughout the day and ensure work meets quality standards
- Communicate professionally with homeowners on-site — answer questions, provide updates, set expectations
- Ensure job sites are safe, organized, and cleaned up at the end of every day
- Manage material usage and coordinate with the office on supply needs
- Identify unexpected conditions (soil issues, hidden damage, utility conflicts) and escalate appropriately
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in concrete, masonry, or hardscaping
- Proven ability to lead a crew and manage a job site independently
- Strong working knowledge of concrete formwork, paver installation, base preparation, and compaction
- Ability to read and interpret project scopes and communicate any changes clearly
- Reliable, punctual, and takes pride in the finished product
- Valid driver's license; ability to tow a trailer is a plus
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
What We Offer
- Competitive pay based on experience
- Steady, year-round work in a growing market
- Small company — your work is seen and your contributions matter
- Straightforward, no-drama work environment
